Some kitchens look better in photos. Ours is different in person at our Glasgow Showroom.
Here’s something we’ve noticed over the years: the people who visit our showroom rarely leave the same way they arrived.
They come in having done their research — browsed the brochures, scrolled through the Instagram grids, compared the spec sheets. They think they know what they want. But something happens when they actually walk through the space, open the drawers, feel the weight of the cabinet doors, and see how the lighting plays off the finishes in real life.
Decisions become much easier. Because you stop guessing what your kitchen could be, and you start seeing it.
That’s why we’ve just finished a significant update to our Glasgow showroom — bringing in a new set of fully installed, live displays that reflect how real kitchens are actually used and lived in. Not concept renders. Not showpieces behind glass. Working kitchens you can explore with your hands as well as your eyes.
What’s New in the Showroom
We don’t update our displays for the sake of it. Every new installation has to earn its place — it needs to teach our clients something about what’s possible, show a finish or configuration that’s genuinely difficult to appreciate without seeing it in three dimensions.
Here’s what you’ll find when you visit us now:
Why Visiting a Showroom Changes Everything

Most people planning a kitchen renovation spend weeks — sometimes months — making decisions from a screen. They save images to folders, create Pinterest boards, and compare quotes from companies they’ve never met in person. It’s a perfectly reasonable way to research.
But here’s what that process can’t replicate: the moment you realise that the handle you’ve been going back and forth about for three weeks isn’t actually the one you’d choose once you hold it. Or that the worktop colour you were certain about looks completely different under your kitchen’s natural light than it does on a monitor calibrated for photography.
A showroom visit doesn’t just help you choose. It helps you stop second-guessing.
Who We Are

A&S Home Design is a Glasgow-based kitchen design and installation specialist. We work with homeowners across the west of Scotland who want a kitchen that’s been properly thought through — designed around how they actually cook, live, and entertain — and installed to a standard that will last.
We’re not a large chain. We don’t have a showroom in every town. What we do have is a team that genuinely cares about getting the details right, and a body of work in homes across Glasgow that we’re quietly proud of.
Every project starts with a conversation. Usually in the showroom. Occasionally over the phone. But always with the goal of understanding what you’re actually trying to create — not just specifying a list of units.
Ready to Come and See for Yourself?

If you’re planning a kitchen renovation — even if you’re still in the early stages — a showroom visit is the most useful hour you’ll spend on the project. There’s no obligation, no hard sell, and no pressure to decide anything on the day.
Just a proper look around, a conversation with someone who knows kitchens inside out, and a much clearer sense of what you actually want.
You can also watch the full showroom walkthrough video above to get a feel for the space before you arrive — but we’ll be honest: it’s not quite the same as being here.
