A&S Home Design is a real, modern-day family business with more than 30 years of experience in designing and installing kitchens for families across the UK. Started in 2015 by Adrian and Stephen McGuigan, the nephew-Uncle duo put their experiences together to deliver a one-of-a-kind kitchen design and installation service for customers who share their family values.
We provide affordable German quality engineered kitchens by renowned brand – Nobilia. With 22 of our 30 years' experience having been spent working with Nobilia products, we can confidently say that we are an expert in bringing together all the right options for your ideal kitchen design.
When it comes time to install your new kitchen, we provide a full trade service with no contractors! This means you’re not left having to hire other people to carry out other parts of the job and everyone you deal with is directly employed by us.

Located in Kirkintilloch, our kitchen showroom is full of the latest models of Nobilia kitchens and our resident experts, Stephen and Stewart. While many other kitchen showrooms will force their salespeople on you to try and drive a sale, our approach is different. We believe that a conversation over a tea or a coffee is much more valuable to both ourselves and our customers than a sales focused approach.

Adrian McGuigan
Joint Owner
Adrian has over 25 years of hands-on experience installing kitchens across both contract developments and private residential homes. Having worked closely alongside his uncle Stephen McGuigan for many years, he developed a deep understanding of what makes a kitchen not only look great but function perfectly in everyday life.
Adrian now leads the showroom at A&S Home Design, working directly with customers to design kitchens that combine practicality, style and long-lasting quality.
His practical installation background gives him a unique advantage as a designer, ensuring every kitchen is created with real-world usability, precision and attention to detail in mind.
Katie McGuigan
Joint Owner
Katie recently joined the family business following a change in career and now plays a key role in the day-to-day running of A&S Home Design.
She manages customer enquiries, coordinates design appointments and supports the team in the showroom, helping ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. From the first enquiry through to installation, Katie helps keep projects organised so customers enjoy a seamless and welcoming experience throughout the process.
As one of the first people customers meet when visiting the showroom, Katie takes pride in making everyone feel comfortable — and is always ready with a great cup of tea or coffee while you talk through your ideas.
Stewart Graham
Sales Manager
Stewart has over 30 years of experience in kitchen sales and has worked for several large contract companies including Moores, Symphony, Kelvin, and Nobilia. He brings with him a vast knowledge of the workings of good kitchen functionality and a flair in kitchen design.
